The actual angle of attack in Dealey Plaza is between 20 and 22 degrees from parallel with the vehicle's direction. The "magic bullet" theory relies upon a steeper angle of attack -- over 30 degrees -- and requires that Connally's seat be moved to be directly in front of Kennedy's. When the men's true positions are mapped and the bullet path is added, a single bullet passes through both Kennedy and Connally.
The term "single bullet theory" is also a misnomer. It refers to a single bullet hitting both men, not the total number of bullets fired.
